First Aid and Self Care Course in Homeopathy,Biochemic tissue salts & Bach flower remedies

This is a beginner's course designed by us. In 4 sessions, this course introduces the principles and practice of homeopathy, some commonly used homeopathic remedies, a comprehensive therapeutics section on day-to-day acute conditions like influenza, fever, cold, cough, headache, pre-menstrual syndrome, indigestion, food poisoning, etc. Bonus session: A free bonus session on Biochemic Tissue Salts therapy is included. Found by Dr. Schussler, a German physician and homeopath, Biochemic Tissue Salts are a simple and effective means to good health, safe for use by everyone. This therapy is based on the principle that most diseases are caused by an insufficiency of essential mineral salts in the body. 12 tissue salts are explained in depth along with 28 biochemic combinations.

Bach Flower Remedies :

Designed by us for lay persons who would like to take control of their emotional health, in 4 sessions, this provides a comprehensive coverage of Bach Flower Remedies and their use in day-to-day life, with case studies and practical tips.

Bach Flower Remedies are a simple, natural and effective system, founded in the 1930's by Dr. Edward Bach, a noted physician, bacteriologist, immunologist and a homeopath. Dr. Bach believed that physical disease is simply the end result of emotional and mental disturbances; by treating such disturbances, the physical diseases would automatically get cured.

Bach Flower Remedies (also known as Bach Flower Essences), gently restore balance and emotional well-being. Over the last 70 years, they have been used worldwide by complementary healthcare practitioners and by lay people alike. They are simple to use and safe for the whole family. Famous personalities like Madonna and Liz Hurley use Bach Flower Remedies to maintain their emotional health.

A comprehensive book and a kit of 38 Bach Flower Remedies (that can last for about 3 - 5 years) are provided to every participant.

Upon completion of this course, students are awarded a Certificate of Participation. They can manage acute conditions in their own health and that of their family members using Homeopathic Remedies and Biochemic Tissue Salts and can also manage their ailments with Bach flower; however, they are not authorized to practice with the public.

We are offering only a combined First Aid & Self Care course AND Bach Flower Remedies course.

Diploma in Homeopathy

For those who wish to delve deeper into homeopathy for pursuing a career as a homeopath or simply for personal development, this course is designed by us based on the syllabus of the British Institute of Homeopathy. As a pre-requisite, students must have completed our First-Aid & Self-Care course in Homeopathy. Lasting 18 months, this course enables graduates to treat various acute and chronic diseases of the public. Subjects include in-depth studies of homeopathic philosophy and principles, materia medica, human anatomy & physiology, therapeutics of diseases of different systems, case-taking, constitutional and miasmatic approaches. To enable our students to obtain practical experience, a compulsory 6 month clinical training period at one of our associated homeopathy clinics is added.

Graduation of Diploma 2003

Upon successful completion of this course and passing the external British Institute examinations, the graduate is awarded two diplomas entitling use of the initials D.Hom (Singapore) and D.I.Hom (UK) and may call himself a ''Homeopathic Practitioner''.

 

Postgraduate Diploma in Homeopathy

For the serious aspirant who wishes to solidify his/her knowledge and pursue a career as a homeopathic doctor, we offer this course designed by us based on the syllabus of the British Institute of Homeopathy. To join this course, students must have completed our Diploma course or equivalent. This course lasting 18 months includes advanced material medica, therapeutics, case taking and case management, differential diagnosis, remedy differentiation, pathology, physical examination of patients and understanding of medical reports, laboratory investigation reports, etc. Considerable emphasis is placed upon the practical skills required in working with patients from all walks of life.

Graduation of PG Diploma 2003

A compulsory thesis submission is required. Upon successful completion of this course, the graduate is awarded a ''Doctorate of Homeopathic Medicines'' by The British Institute of Homeopathy, UK.

 

General Information

i ) Eligibility :

• There is no pre-requisite for the First-Aid & Self-Care course. Pre-requisites for the other courses are given within the course information. Regardless of your previous educational background, our courses can take you to new heights.

ii ) Language :

• All courses are conducted in English.

iii ) Our track record :

We have successfully completed several runs of our First-Aid & Self-Care and Bach Flower Remedies courses, 3 diploma courses, 1 Postgraduate Diploma course (another one is in progress), and 2 MF Hom batches. Our track record is impeccable. All our students have passed in the external examinations and many have obtained distinctions. Our graduates have gone on to open their own homeopathy clinics.

iv ) Course Schedule :

• To enable interested students from all walks of life to attain homeopathic knowledge, our courses are run on a part-time basis, generally 4 hours once or twice a week.

v ) Course fees :

• All fees are quoted in Singapore dollars, excluding taxes (if any). Our courses fees are kept as low as possible. Installment payment can be arranged for long-term courses.
• All fees are inclusive of tuition, compulsory books and other material necessary to complete the courses. Supplementary material may be recommended by lecturers now and then, which students can purchase if they wish.

vi ) Teaching staff :

• Our lecturers are professionally qualified homeopathic doctors and practitioners with many years of experience.

vii ) Our relationships :

• While running the courses in a professional manner, we also endeavour to create a "family" atmosphere in our school. Our relationships are based on mutual respect, trust and understanding.
• Lecturers and the principal are extremely approachable, and are always available for students, whether to clarify any doubts, offer inspiration and encouragement or guidance as required. As much individual support as necessary is always available. We truly practice the "open door" policy.
